Daniel Ching is currently performing as Charles Lee in Hamilton's Angelica Touring Company. While earning his Dance BFA from The Juilliard School (2016), where he was awarded the Hector Zaraspe Prize for Choreography, Daniel danced professionally with the Brian Brooks Moving Company. He also showed his own work at the National YoungArts Week in Miami, the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and at White Wave's DUMBO Dance Festival in Brooklyn, NY.
Daniel has taught contemporary, hip hop, and improvisational dance across Canada, the continental U.S. (and his native Hawaii). He founded DaretoCreate Dance Theater (2013) to provide interactive dance performances and masterclasses to local communities. He has served as a faculty member for FRESH Dance Intensive, as well as for Conteur Dance (Toronto), and as a choreographic collaborator/performer with Sketch Theater (NYC).
An avid actor and theater improviser, Daniel trained under Gabrielle Berberich in Michael Howard Studio's One-Year Conservatory Program, at UCB, the Magnet Theater, and at the Barrow Group, all in NYC, NY.
